Questions? I’ve got answers!
Which facial should I choose?
If you are unsure of what to focus on, or maybe it's been a long while since your last facial (with any provider) then it is best to begin with the RITUAL 60 min. We can always schedule a consultation prior if there are any details you would like to sort out before coming in.
Why is there no steam in my facial?
Leaning away from unnecessary inflammation is the main reason. When Covid hit I had to take steam away for safety reasons, and in that time I found I had better results in softening the skin and keeping it calm than when steam was present. So out it goes for good!
How often should I be getting a treatment?
Whenever is good for you, is good for me! If you've got specific skin goals in mind or love routine maintenance - monthly treatments are the sweet spot. If you want to keep some space between appointments, quarterly visits are great! When the seasons shift, so do our daily habits like stress, food, and rest. This makes it a perfect time to come in and reevaluate what your skin needs, the products you're using, and any concerns you might have.
What should I wear/bring to a treatment?
During your service you are covered from the chest down, leaving it up to you on what you keep on or remove. It is helpful to at least have thin straps or nothing around the upper chest and neck. This way I can keep oils away from staining any fabrics. Removing larger earrings and necklaces is preferred as well.
Do you still Dermaplane?
I don't! While it can give quick and satisfying results - my job is to help support, protect your skin, and to meet you where you're at with lifestyle/home care. Dermaplaning just no longer fits my values in those departments.
What do I do post treatment?
AVOID:
• Working out/sweating
• Consuming alcohol
• Spray tans
DO:
• Drink lots of fluids
• Eat comforting, easily digestible foods
• Give yourself permission to continue resting even once you've left your treatment. ♡
